Essentially my question that is guiding me through my research is “How can we as occupational therapist assist sensory patients with finding a balance within their seven sensory systems? ”. I want to develop a deeper understanding behind the seven sensory systems, so that I can began to comprehend where sensory sensitivities originate from and how Occupational therapist help their patients to not change themselves, but instead help them adapt the world to help them persevere through it. To achieve my goal I plan on completing bibliographies over articles relating to my essential question. Which will be found on my website where I will also have a prezi over my findings. Along with visuals such as tools that occupational therapist utilize to help their sensory patients. My main source of information will be from my mentor who is an Occupational therapist.
